MINISTER'S VISIT: MR. W. NASH MEETS GISBORNE PEOPLE
The Minister of Finance, Mr. W. Nash, arrived at Gisborne this morning on a tour of the East Coast districts following his extended stay in Auckland.
Mr. Nash was engaged this morning in a discussion with representatives of the Gisborne Flood Relief Committee, the Federated Farmers’ organisation, and State departments which took part in administering flood relief on the Government scale after last May’s inundations.
He is to be the guest of the Gisborne branch of the Labour Party at a social gathering this evening.
