ATTEMPT TO BREAK N.Z. TRACK RECORDS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 7. Miss Shirley Strickland, the brilliant Australian woman track and field athlete, wants a chance to set fresh New Zealand records for the 80 metres hurdles and 220 yards before leaving for home from Auckland on Thursday and the Auckland centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association is endeavouring to arrange for this on the Domain, the country’s fastest track, for Wednesday evening.
