Woman Tramper Safe: Injury Not Serious
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 8. The woman tramper injured in a fall in the Tarnruas on Saturday, Miss Katherine Jamieson, aged about 23, Brooklyn, Wellington; was brought by her rescuers to a Works Department camp at Kaitoke yesterday afternoon. The party reached Kaitoke at 4.30 p.m. and Miss Jamieson was immediately taken to the Wellington Public Hospital by an ambulance that was waiting for her. Her injuries, received in a fall down a 20-ft. rock face, were confined to a bruised hip. She was treated at the hospital and discharged.
