DISGRUNTLED MIGRANTS MAKE LIFE MORE DIFFICULT
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 4Recent charges against New Zealand and New Zealanders by disgruntled migrants returning to Britain were not constructive and were merely making life more difficult for the 93 per cent, who arrived in New Zealand since the end of the war and who were trying to become good New Zealanders, said the chairman of the Wellington New Settlers’ Welfare Committee, Mr. S. C. Bradley, today. “Because of our way of life, our love of picnicing, tramping, pig-hunt-ing and_ general outdoor activity, I say as a New Zealander by choice that there is more spontaneous hospitality here than in many of the olderestablished countries,” said Mr. Bradley.
He added that his committee had reecived many letters offering hospitality to new arrivals.
