NOMINATIONS FOR THE NATIONAL EXECUTIVE
At a meeting of the Labour Representation Committee, held recently, the following were nominated for positions on the national executive of the Labour Party in Wellington: National president, Mr. A. H. Nordmeyer, M.P.; national vice-president, Miss M. Howard, M.P.,: national secretary, Mr. J. A. MacDonald; executive, Mrs. H. Kemp, Messrs R. Eddy. J. O. Johansen, C. Hair and Butler; divisional area representative. Mr. A. E. Armstrong, M.P. The interest taken in the Labour Representation Committee was displayed when nominations were called for officers to be elected at the annual meeting. There were five nominations for president, six for vice-president, two for secretary-treasurer, and 12 for the executive. Mr. W. Harnett presided.
