RUMANIANS SENT TO PRISON FOR PLOTTING
(10 a.m.) BUCHAREST, Dec. 16. A military court sentenced the former chief of ex-King Michael’s military household, General Constantine Nicolescue, to seven years’ imprisonment and military degradation. Thirty-nine other defendants, charged with organising Fascist groups and Sabotage, were after a three-day trial sentenced at the same time as Nicolescu to terms of imprisonment ranging from eight months to 20 years.
