FOOD FOR BRITAIN: SLIGHT FALL IN DOMINION POSTINGS
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 16. Food parcels posted to Britain from New Zealand during November numbered 162,002,. and weighed in total 1,567,2221 b. announced the PostmasterGeneral, Mr. F. Hackett, today. In the last three months 427,892 parcels of a weight of 4,151,2841 b were posted. Both of these totals were slightly less than those for the corresponding periods last year, said Mr. Hackett. During the last four months there had been small decreases both in the number and weight in food parcel postings for Britain.
