FT.-LIEUT. BUSH’S FUNERAL
(P.A.) WANGANUI, Dec. 15. The funeral of Flight Lieutenant CR. Bush, pilot of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Airspeed Oxford, which was lost in the Ruahine Ranges recently, took place at Wanganui crematorium yesterday afternoon.
The station memorial service was held at Ohakea yesterday by the Rev, W. J. Milligan, the station padre. At the entrance to the crematorium. Air Force personnel formed a guard of honour and fellow officers acted as pallbearers. The service was attended by Air Force personnel and relatives and was conducted by Mr. Milligan. At the conclusion of the service a volley was fired by a party of airmen. The Last Post and Reveille were sounded by Air Force buglers, while a tattoo was tapped on draped drums.
