(P.A.)
HASTINGS, Dec. 11
The proposal that a flat price be paid for prime lambs as an incentive to breeders was considered by the Hawke’s Bay meat and wool section of Federated Farmers. The chairman, Mr. P. S. Plummer, brought forward the suggestion that all prime lambs up to 561 b. be paid for at the same price per lb. in their respective ’Down and crossbred grades. All branches are being asked to consider the question.
