Elderly Man Attacked And Robbed
(P.A.) AUCKLAND. Dec. 13 After being attacked by three assailants in Nelson street. City, shortly after 9.30 on Saturday night a man was dragged into a right-of-way off the street and robbed of his wallett containing £7. The victim was Mr. Thomas Renton, aged 64, labourer, Vincent street, City. Mr. Renton was struck several blows before he fell to the ground in an unconscious condition. Subsequently he was admitted t,o the Auckland Hospital suffering from concussion and abrasions.
