SHUNTER KILLED IN RAILWAY YARDS
(PA.) NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 31. Fatal injuries were received by a shunter who was run over by a rake of trucks at the Stratford railway yards early yesterday morning. He was; Mr. Walter Horace ,Rogers, aged 32, ’ married with three children. Mr. Rogers, who was in charge of a shunting gang, was riding on the cowcatcher of a locomotive and the trucks were running on a track alongside when he fell from the cowcatcher. The wheels of the trucks passed over him. He died about an hour after admission to hospital.
