PIGHUNTER’S TRAGIC DEATH
(P.A.) INVERCARGILL. Aug. 31. A married man was accidentally shot dead while on a pig-shooting expedition near To Anau yesterday. He was: Mr. Michael Collins, aged 32. of Waikiwi, employed by the Invercargill Abattoirs. Mr. Collins went shooting with Mr. R. Ferry, of Invercargill. It is believed that Mr. Ferry saw a pig in the scrub and fired, and that Mr. Collins came into the line of five.
