EXPORT LEVY RATES ON HIDES AMENDED
(PA.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 31. Consequent upon the alteration to the overseas exchange rate the Hides Commiitee at a meeting yesterday amended the export levy rates to the following:— Ox and cow hides, all grades, all weights, lid per lb; bull hides, 4d per lb; yearlings, 15d per lb; calf, other than freezer, lOd per lb. The above rates are to cover all hides “freed for export” on and after September 1.
