FLOOD DEVASTATION IN INDIA
NEW DELHI, Aug. 27. Floodwaters from the River Ramganga, a tributary of. the Ganges, have submerged 70 villages in the Western United Provinces. At Moradabad 12 inches of rain fell in 24 hours. Four hundred houses collapsed, killing four people. The rains have caused heavy damage .to crops. .
