GRANT OF 25 PER CENT FROM N.Z. EXPORTS SOUGHT

WELLINGTON, Aug. 4. “Will the Government favourably consider deducting from the new scale of prices for primary products which has recently been agreed to between the United Kingdom Government and the New Zealand Government the equivalent of the amount of money value which is represented by the operation of the existing exchange rate between New Zealand and Great Britain?”

Langstone (Govt., Roskill), in association with six ether Government members —Mr. W. T. Anderton (Auckland Central), Mr. W. W. Freer (Mount Albert), Mr. T. E. Skinner (Tamaki), Mr. P. Kearins (Waimarino). Dr. A. M. Finlay (North Shore), and Mr. G. H. O. Wilson (Palmerston North).
