Tomatoes Like Grapes
With seed sent from America, two Timaru residents have produced tomatoes growing 12ft. high, and the fruit, except in colour, resembles grapes. The gardeners, Mr. W. Foster, Wai-iti avenue, and Mr. E. Foster, Seaview terrace, consider that their tomatoes are excellent for bottling, and they have the advantage over the New Zealand variety that, despite colder weather, they are still prolific.
