HAPPY BUT TRAGIC CHILD SPECTATORS
(11 a.m.) LONDUN, April 26. Seated on the steps ol Queen Victoria Memorial, outside Buckingham Palace, this morning were 50 of the happiest but most pathetic little girls in Loudon—the happiest because the King had given them the sole right to a favoured view of the silver wedding procession, but most pathetic because it is probably, for most of them, the first and last time they will see the King, Queen and Princesses for all have bonedestroying diseases or tuberculosis with little chance of reaching womanhood.
