TO CARRY PASSENGERS
TUDOR IV. AIRCRAFT (10.30 a.m.) LONDON, April 23. The Minister of Civil Aviation, Lord Nathan, announced that on the advice of the Air Safety Board the Tudor IV may now be used to carry passengers, but until range and consumption trials have been’ completed Tudor IV aircraft will not fly between the Azores and Bermuda. Reuter says it is expected that British South American Airways will use Tudor IV’s on the Shannon-Gander-Bermuda run. Tudor TV's were grounded early in February after vh* iocs of a plane with 31 people.
