HUGE METEORITE CRATER IN WEST AUSTRALIA
(10 a.m.) PERTH, April 23. One of the world’s largest meteorite craters has been discovered in a desolate region of Western Australia, about 400 miles west from Broome, on the edge of the desert basin. An oil company representative who made the discovery said the crater was 150 ft. and one mile wide at the base.
