FOUR MORE CASES
AUCKLAND PROVINCE (P.A.) AUCKLAND, March 15. Four further positive cases of infantile paralysis were reported in the Auckland province during the weekend. One was in the Auckland health district and the remaining three in South Auckland. A five-year-old girl from Wellsford who was already a patient in Auckland Hospital was diagnosed as a positive case on Saturday. Paralysis patients now under treatment in hospital comprise 42 positive cases and three suspected cases. ROTORUA DISTRICT (P.A.) ROTORUA, March 15. Three positive cases of poliomyelitis were admitted to the Rotorua Hospital during the week-end, bringing the total for the district since the epidemic started to five.
They. were a girl aged four years from Murupara, about 40 miles from Rotorua, and a girl aged six and a boy aged three from Waipa, about three miles from Rotorua..
