MORE HONEY THAN USUAL
(P.A.) PALMERSTON, N. March 12. Honey crops throughout New Zealand . were generally above the average, according to recent figures from the department of Agriculture, stated Mr. E. A. Field, Dominion president of the New Zealand Beekeepers’ Association. It is anticipated that with the higher prices ruling for honey and the dire necessity for providing every available ounce of food for the people of Britain, beekeepers should have no difficulty in supplying the 400 tons of honey appealed for by the Minister of Marketing, Mr, E. L. Cullen.
