FORCED DISSOLUTION
FOREIGN OIL INTERESTS COMPANY IN RUMANIA (10 a.m.) LONDON, March 9. The Shell Oil Company announced that the Royal Dutch Shell group decided that Astra-Romana. which is the largest oil company operating in Rumania, must be regarded as “'being in a state of forcible dissolution." The Royal Dutch Shell group are the majority shareholders in Astra Romana. The decision was taken as a result of “many acts of interference” in Astra Romana’s affairs by the Rumanian Government's administrator. The British and Dutch staff of Astra Romana have been advised to return home.
