DR. C. E. BEEBY’S POST VIEWS OF MR. D. FORSYTH fP.A.) DUNEDIN, Feb. 25. The attitude of bodies protesting against the appointment of Dr. C. E. Beeby, Director of Education, as Assistant Director-General of UNESCO was a selfish and insular one, said Mr. D. Forsyth, Dunedin, who accompanied Dr. Beeby and two other New Zealand delegates to the UNESCO conference at Mexico City last year. Mr Forsyth said New Zealand should be proud of the appointment. Dr. Beeby’s subordinates, he added, were fully capable of carrying out his policy. ________________
