LABOUR CONFERENCE (P.A.) DUNEDIN, Feb. 26. The annual conference of the New i Zealand Labour Party will be opened lon May 3 and will conclude on May 7. Percy, who said yesterday that he (was meeting with a generous response. | The conference proceedings will be .conducted by the president of the New I Zealand Labour Party, Mr. James Roberts, Wellington. The national secretary of the party, Mr. A. J-, McDonald, will be present and he will be assisted by a full committee chosen by the conference. The preparations for the conference are in the hands of the national secretary and remits are in process of compilation for submission to delegates.
