BAN ON TRANSFERS
N.Z. LEAGUE PLAYERS (10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 15. The English Rugby League has imposed an immediate ban on English clubs signing on New Zealand players for two years. Mr. W. Fallowfield, the England Rugby League's secretary, announced the ban after a conference with the New Zealand touring team managers at Leeds.
English clubs must pay £4OO transfer fee to the New Zealand League for each player for two years after the ban expires. .
