CANTERBURY ELEVEN
R. H. SCOTT DROPPED (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 15. The Canterbury cricket team to play Auckland has been selected as follows: W. A. Hadlee, captain, W. McD. Anderson, J. G. Legget, F. B. Smith, A. R. MacGivvon, R. W. Emery, C. G. Snook, P. Small, T. B. Burtt, A. E. Britton, N. V. Burtt, W. Politt (twelfth man). The main surprise is the dropping of R. H. Scott, New Zealand representative of last season, with most club wickets to his credit in club cricket this season. I. B. Cromb is badly out of form. He has scored only 46 runs in six innings.
