EX-HEADMASTER DIES
COLLAPSE AT REUNION (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Sept. 22. Mr Alfred Barrett Floyd, formerly headmaster of the Owairaka Primary School, collapsed and died at a reunion dance held by old pupils of the schoo. on Saturday night. He retired after 41 years teaching service at the end of 1944 and went to live with his son at Hastings. He returned to Auckland about six months Mr Floyd was a Thames Rugby football representative and was always keenly interested in that sport and in swimming.
