SALE AT NORTH CLYDE
Firm values were maintained at the Wairoa cattle lair this week when the bench of »buyers represented Patea, Manawatu, Hawke's Bay and Gisborne. Following is the range of prices: Three-year steers, £ll 5s to £l2 10s; 2-yr. steers, £8 to £lO 15s; yearling steers, £4 10s to £7; 3-yr. heifers, £9 10s to £lO 15s; 2-yr. heifers, £7 5s to £9; yearling heifers ,£4 to £6 ss: empty cows, £5 10s to £9 16s; fat cows, £lO 10s to £ll 16s. , Individual sales were as follows: Sir Harold Johnston, yearling steers, £6 18s, yearling heifers £4 18s; H. M. B. de Lautour, 3-yr. steers £ll 8s; A. Harrison, 2-yr. heifers, £8 10s; Onenui Station, empty cows, £9 3s, 3-yr. heifers, £lO Bs, 2-vr. heifers, £8 8s: W. M.
