NEW JUDGE APPOINTED
MR. K. M AC F. GRESSON (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 20. The Attorney-General. Mr. H. G. R. Mason, announced yesterday that His Excellency the Governor-General had been pleased to appoint Mr. Kenneth MacFarlane Gresson, barrister. Christchurch, to be a judge of the Supreme Court,
Mr. Gresson, who is dean of the Faculty of Law of Canterbury College and chancellor of the Anglican diocese of Christchurch, is a grandson of the late Mr. Justice Henry Barnes Gresson, who was a judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand from 1857 to 1875. He was born in Christchurch in 1891.
