WAR SUPPLIES ON WAY
EQUIPMENT FOR GREECE WASHINGTON, Aug. 23. The State Department announced today that 12 Army transports carrying approximately 18,000,000 dollars’ worth of military supplies have already sailed for Greece and that 30,000 more tons of such supplies will leave this week. The Navy has ordered six large patrol boats off active duty for immediate refitting in anticipation of turning them over to Greek crews who are due here soon for training by the United States Navy. -
