CROWN LANDS
ACCRUED FIFTHS SCHEDULE APPROVED The monthly meeting of the Gisborne Land Board, held yesterday, was not faced with a lengthy agenda, only one application affecting a Crown-lands tenancy being submitted Present at the meeting were Messrs. E. P. Wakelyn, Crown lands commissioner for the district., P. T. Weeks, J. W. Gordon, J. Boyle and H. B. Bull. Official advice of the re-appointment of Mr. Boyle as a member of the board for a further three years was received from the Under-Secretary of Lands the term to date from May 8 last. A schedule of accrued fifths was submitted by the Wairoa County Council, the amount involved being £BO. The board approved the proposed disposal of the funds. An application was received for permission to transfer Lot 2 of Sections 1. 5 and 12, Blocks IXV and LV, Motu survey district, from the estate of R. Beaufoy to Stuart Ralph Beaufpy. The area is 976 acres, with a capital value of £562 4s and an annual rental of £22 9s lOd. The transfer was approved.
