R.S.A. Conference Delegates

Delegates of the Gisborne Returned Services’ Association, Messrs. M. R. Maude, A. N. Wilkins and A. 11. Miller, left by rail today for Wellington to attend the annual council of the New Zealand association. The conference will open on Monday and will conclude on Thursday, if possible, the agenda being an extensive one dealing with many questions in regard to pensions, after-care of sick and wounded, economic problems of discharged personnel, land settlement, and the wide field of other interests covered by the activities of the association. Mr. Wilkins is president of the Tokomaru Bay subassociation, and has long been connecfed with the organisation in that area. The district association makes a practice of including one sub-association representative in the conference delegation as often as possible. -
