DEATH SENTENCE APPEAL
(11 a.m.) LONDON, May 1. Lawrence John Smith, whp with Ley was sentenced to death for the Chalkpit murder, has applied to the AttorneyGeneral for an appeal to the House of Lords. Ley made a similar application on Monday.
