AMATEUR BOXING
SECOND TOURNAMENT With 10 bouts already arranged and further entries possible, the indications are for a generous programme-on Monday evening when the second of the season’s amateur boxing tournaments will be held in the Gisborne Y.M.C.A. gymnasium Since the opening tourney last month training has been keen and very interesting displays by well-matched pairs may be looked for. Entries will be accepted up to Friday evening when the final training class prior to the tournament assembles. Matches already arranged are as follows: M Brown v McPherson; B. Keiha v. R. Keelan: B, Sullivan v. B. Richards.; J. McPhee v. R. Williams: K. Evans v. B Dennis: J. Leahy v. M. Merritt: Finnagin v. Quirck; E Knebel v; D. Hillyard; B. Hullen v. E. Morete; R. Harrison v -T.
