NEGOTIATIONS OPENED
AERO CLUB SUBSIDIES (P.A.) WELLINGTON, May 1. In view of the fact that negotiations with the Government had already been opened the annual meeting of the RoyaL New Zealand Aero Club yesterday rejected a motion that the Government should be approached on the question of the training of Air Training Corps pilots and of accompanying subsidies. m _ , „ The president. Mr. R. T. Cadwallader, outlined what had been done and said recommendations had been made and submitted to the Minister of Defence, Mr. F. Jones. The details of the proposals were confidential and were net at a stage where they could be circulated to the clubs. The meeting elected the following officers: President, Mr. W. J. Seaton (Auckland); vice-presidents, Messrs. H. D Christie (Christchurch), N. M, McLaren (Nelson); secretary, Mr. R. G. Bannister (Wellington).
