MEN’S CORSETS?
Corsets lor men? The next thing in fashionable underwear for Australian men will be two-stretch girdles—if the men can be talked into wearing them. These glamorous stays, say Melbourne and Sydney manufacturers, should keep middle-aged spread a secret from even your best friend. Psychologically, they agree that they should be called belts, not girdles or corsets which sound “sissy” and send the male shying. The girdles that the manufacturers hope to shame Australians into wearing will be designed in plain white but colours will come later!
