EVIDENCE CONTINUED
LENGTHY PROCEEDINGS (P.A.) HAMILTON, April 30. “1 am a floating raft,” declared an 84-year-old woman giving evidence in the Electoral Court yesterday. She explained that, she divided her time between visits to her married sons and daughters, but had no permanent home of her own. The Court was occupied with the cases of voters challenged by the respondent as having removed from Raglan and qualified elsewhere. The hearing now appears likely to extend well into next week. It is expected that legal argument will be heard in Hamilton, and the judgment is likely to be delivered here before the Chief Justice, Sir Humphrey O'Leary, and Sir Archibald Blair return to Wellington.
