LICENSE NOT NEEDED
KILLING OF OPOSSUMS (P.A.) WELLINGTON. April 30. “From May 1 there will no longer be any necessity to obtain a license or permit for the taking or killing of opossums at any time of the year,” said the Minister of Internal Affairs. Mr. W, E. Parry, to-day. The Minister said it was still necessary for the consent of the occupier of the land concerned to be obtained. In addition to other methods by which opossums had been taken, they could now be shot.
