YUGOSLAVS HELD
WAR CRIMES SUSPECTS (11 a.mfl) BELGRADE, April 28. The Yugoslav news agency Tanjug reports that the British military authorities of Trieste handed over six Yugoslav “wanted men” to the Yugoslav authorities at a village on the “Morgan Line.” Air Marshal Vladimir Ren, commander of the Ustashi air forces, was among them. The Yugoslav authorities asked for the extradition of nine, all of whom are charged with war crimes. The British explained that one had died in Italy, another was held on instructions from Washington to ascertain if he was a war criminal and the third was ill in hospital.
