SENTENCED TO DEATH
UKRAINIAN BANDITS FORAYS INTO POLAND WARSAW, April 27. A summary military court at Przennysl sentenced to death five members of the U.P.A. (Ukrainian Nationalist Band). The authorities announneed their determination to liquidate such bands “which have been sweeping across the Russian frontiers, burning and robbing Polish villages,” from which, it is claimed, 484,000 Ukranians had been expelled to Russia.
