LODGE OFFICERS
ANNUAL CEREMONY REBEKAH MEMBERSHIP Considerable interest was displayed by Hie large' attendance ol members ol the Gisborne Rcbckah Lodge at, the installation of officers, held recently. Twenty members ot lhc Titirangi Rebekah Lodge were warmly welcomed. the secretary taking advantage of the visit to notify the Gisborne lodge of the change of date for its own installation. A report was received from the delegates to the combined lodges in reference to the forthcoming ball, arranged for May 30. Reference also was made to the visit paid by representatives of the East Coast district lodges to Wanganui, the occasion being the anniversary of the Hilton Lodge. Installing officers (or the evening were: Deputy-district grand master. Mr. P. J. Rohan; marshal, Sister P. M. Sutton; financial secretary, Sister K. Davison; warden, Sister I. Walker; chaplain, Sister E. English; recording secretary, Sister L. Cornelius; inner guard, Sister A. Foster; treasurer, Sister F. O’Connell; outer guard, Sister D. Cornelius. Sisters E. Barradcll, N.G.. W. Hazell. V.G.. R. Robinson, treasurer, -N. I-lall, recording secretary, and Mr. L. Stevens, financial secretary, were installed in .their respective chairs and committees were then elected. The usual toast list was honoured and in replying to the toast of the Grand Lodge, Mr. Wilcox, Grand Lodge representative, spoke at length on the recent gathering at Oamaru. Items rendered by Sister Hall and Mr. Davison contributed to the success of the evening.
