DANGER OF DESTRUCTION (P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 23. Small but highly organised blocks of people in Inc community were seeking to destroy the people's way of life, said the Mayor, Mr. J. A. C. Allum, addressing the seventeenth biennial convention of the New Zealand Young Men's Christian Associations, which opened here this morning. "I don't care what you call them — Fascists, National Socialists or Communists —but the sooner we run them out of (he community the better it will be.” Mr. Allum stated that it. was necessary for the community to serve one another. Much work was needed to counteract the totalitarian movements which were operating to-day.
