DAVIS CUP CONTENDERS TWO OF U.S.A. TEAM (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 9. There is a possibility that the American Davis Cup team will be represented at the New Zealand tennis championships in Christchurch in January. The outcome of negotiations still , proceeding depends on whether the date of the Australian championships how scheduled to commence on January 20 is brought forward. The Americans say that is too long to wait 'after the cup matches, and whatever happens Schrccder and Kramer will leave for home immediately the cup contest is decided, but if the date remains unchanged Parker and Mulloy will probably fly to New Zealand to play in the championships and then fly home.
