INSTITUTES IN ACCORD LONDON Dec. 4. The annual meeting of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries unanimously approved the fusion of it; New Zealand and Australian branches with the Australian Institute of Secretaries and the Institute of Incorporated Secretaries. There will in future be one Australian branch with a membership of 5300 and one New Zealand (branch with a membership of 550 The president, Mr. Joseph Stephenson, said the British institute was ‘■•at isfied with the standards of the New Zealand and Australian organisation with which it was fusing, and believed the merger would help to standardise the code of ethics and efficiency of secretaries.
