JAVANESE COMMUNISTS BATAVIA. Dec. 2. The Indonesian Republican Court at Cheribon sentenced Dr. Jiisuf and Dr. Suprapto, former president and secretary respectively of the Java Communist Party to 42 months’ imprisonment. Botti were said to have been involved in a Communist attempt to seize power in the Cheribon region last spring. Other Communists, including one trained in Moscow, are awaiting trial in the interior of Java where they were imprisoned in August after kidnapping M. S.jahrir, the Indonesian Prime Minister.
