REINTRODUCTION SOUGHT (P a ) WELLINGTON, March 25. It is understood that steps have been taken by an authoritative racing body to test flic reaction of the Government to the application of the rc-introduction of mid-week racing for the remainder of the season, or at least for tiic wintci months. , Canterbury, Manawalu and Wellington hold permits to race this season, but have not- an available Saturday.
