ARRIVAL AT CANBERRA

LORD MOUNTBATTEN FLIGHT FROM SINGAPORE (10 a.m.) CANBERRA. March 25. Admiral Lord Louis Mountbatten and Lady Mountbatten arrived from Singapore this morning in a York ait liner. They are staying with the Governor-General, the Duke of Gloucester.

Yesterday afternoon they visited the Australian War Memorial Museum at Canberra, where they were greeted by a large crowd and signed many autographs. This morning they will call on tha Prime Minister. Mr. J. B. Chitley, and lunch with ihe Federal Cabinet. They leave on Tuesday by air for Melbourne. Among those who saw Lord and Lady Mountbatten off at Singapore was Air Chief Marshal Sir Keith Park, com-mander-in-chief of the air force of South-east Asia Command. He will visit his native New Zealand in May as the guest of the New Zealand Government.
