DUTCH EVACUEES
N.Z. VISITS TO END
SHORTAGE OF SHIPPING (10 a.m.) SYDNEY March 25.
After April 15 evacuation from tha Netherlands East Indies to Australia and New Zealand will cease because of the shortage of shipping space and foreign currency. The last ship to leave Java for New Zealand will sail next week, and from then until April 15 special cases will be evacuated by plane. After that only those financially independent will be permitted to travel.
