COMMUNIST EXECUTIVE SYDNEY, March 22. A long duel between the Communistcontrolled executive of the Clerks’ Union and a group of members which sought its dismissal ended yesterday when a ballot revealed the main body of the clerks to be overwhelmingly in favour of the executive. Before the ballot could be held, the dissident members sought a ruling of the Full Bench of the Industrial Commission on the legality of the ballot paper issued. Of the total of over 4000, less than 10 per cent voted against the executive. Meanwhile, a petition of more than 1000 1 clerks has asked for another ballot to , be presented in less ambiguous terms.
