TWO NEW LINERS
SHAW SAVILL COMPANY LONDON. March 21. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company has ordered two more fast passenger and refrigerated cargo liners, one of which will be built at Wallsend-on-Tyne and the other at Birkenhead. Each will be about 15,000 tons, with a normal service speed of 17 knots. They will be specially designed to meet the requirements of the New Zealand and Australian refrigerated cargo trade.
